“In the spirit of the global agenda for energy transition and the need for us to remain relevant and ahead, The Nigeria International Petroleum Summit quietly did a rebrand. From this moment it will be known as Nigeria International Energy Summit. See you in 2022 for the Nigeria International Energy Summit” H.E. Timipre Sylva, Honorable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Nigeria.
With on-going reforms in the sector and improved engagement with host communities, Nigeria is positioning herself to be the foremost energy investment destination.
The official Nigeria International Energy Summit continues to create the perfect platform for the world to meet Nigeria’s energy industry players.
It is a meeting between key Nigerian political decision-makers, government officials, directors and specialists from the Ministry, NNPC, Directors of National and International companies, multinational and multilateral organizations, the academia and other relevant stakeholders.
It hosts an international exhibition of sector products and services – economic operators, national and international companies and potential investors, all coming together to present new technologies and know-how in the energy sector.
With numerous technical workshops and plenary sessions throughout the summit, there is something for everyone in the value chain.
The venue of the event is the International Conference Centre (ICC), located in the heart of Abuja’s business district. The Centre is easily assessable from different parts of the city. Its close proximity to a number of hotels also means travel times are quite reasonable. However, we recommend that on event days, you plan your journey in advance in case of any potential traffic hold ups around the area
